Industry Standards

Talent Activated is a multi-industry staffing agency that connects highly motivated and qualified individuals with clients to staff their festivals, conventions, promotions, and events. Talent Activated enlisted Anchor to help them reach their goals of reaching 1M in revenue in 2023 and growing the Talent Activated workforce.

To begin our collaboration, both teams met in Chicago for a day long work shop diving into the strategy that would guide the brand and creative moving forward. Crystal McDonald, CEO Talent Activated raved about the day saying, "This experience really pushed me to think about the value that we bring and how we want to show up in the industry. It made me remember that have a lot to offer -- and I'm honored to go this journey with like minded beautiful BLACK women to do it."

Designing For Impact

With the foundations set, Anchor developed a system represents Talent Activated's core values, professional, approachable, fun, dynamic, and enables them to attract highly motivated and qualified individuals for their clients' events.

A Fresh Look

Our refreshed logo pays homage to Talent Activated's current logo by incorporating its signature slanted type for “Activated”. In our design process, we sought to inform the logo with a timeless and contemporary feel by replacing the previous sans-serif typeface with one that exudes both longevity and modernity.

Setting The Brand Apart

The brand's visual design incorporates curved-edge containers, which not only differentiate it from its competitors but also serve as an extension of its logotype. By strategically placing these containers, the brand draws attention to the crucial text and person-centric photography, highlighting its commitment to dynamic collaboration. The design elements work together harmoniously to create a unified and memorable brand identity that is sure to resonate with its target audience.

Rising Above The Rest

With the branding underway, we turned our attention to Public Relations to drive awareness for the brand partners and the growing workforce. In an unprecedented move, Anchor secured both co-founders individual podcasts within a week for Business First. This business-focused podcast from Sonia Alleyne who is an author and long-time journalist and previously worked for Black Enterprise.

Essence, Zero to 500 podcast, Howard University's WHUR, Blavity, Afrotech, and Fast Company were quick to follow with their interest in working with the co-founders.
